Police investigating Staples robbery in Downtown Halifax

Halifax Regional Police are currently investigating a robbery which occurred this morning in Halifax.

At 9:08 a.m., officers responded to Staples at 2003 Gottingen Street after staff called to report they were robbed. The suspect is described as a black male, light complected, average height and weight, wearing a multi-colored scarf and a black parka. He indicated he had a gun and fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. Nobody was injured and at this time police are in the early stages of the investigation.
