The RBC Multicultural Festival, the largest of its kind east of Montreal, has become a summer highlight for people across the province and around the Maritimes. 

Intern Max Winkelman chatted with Hallie Watson about her new art exhibit "Strange Fruit - Still Life" at the Jo Beale Gallery 10327 Peggys Cove Road, Glen Margaret N.S. running from June 10th - June 29th.

National, regional and local acts are scheduled to perform throughout the weekend of June 22-24 at the Halifax Seaport, for the third year in a row. Canadian born singer, Raghav, is set to play this year's Festival on the opening night. 

The province is investing $200,000 to provide helmets to children and youth in need to help them protect their noggins and play safe.
